CHRISTMAS
A world wide celebration of the incarnation of Jesus Christ is
celebrated in Goa with much religious fervor.
There are week long programmes organized in
each and every village. Young boys keep themselves
busy by making stars and cribs, and the
girls help in preparing variety of sweets like doce,
neureos, dodol, gons, pinagre, bebinca ( not to be
missed)olle, korbonlam and the list goes on and on ...
After the mid-night mass there are dances organized
around every nook and corner of Goa. |

FEAST
OF THREE KINGS Feast of the three Kings celebrated at
Cansaulim and Chandor. This traditional event
attracts a lot of tourists, to witness the three
Kings mount on horse backs actually
climbing the steep mount of Cansaulim. It is also
celebrated at Reis Magos. |
